Meet Gin!Hi, all! I'm Gin. I'm the author of the New York Times and USA Today bestseller Fast. Feast. Repeat., published by St. Martin’s Press, as well as the book that started it all... Delay, Don’t Deny: Living an Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle, an Amazon #1 best seller in the weight loss category. I'm also the host of the Intermittent Fasting Stories podcast.
While I have been living the intermittent fasting lifestyle since 2014, there is so much more to me than intermittent fasting. I taught elementary school for 28 years, most recently as a gifted teacher for kids in 2nd-5th grades. I have also worked with adult learners in a number of settings. I am definitely a life-long learner: I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach Training Program (2019), and I also have a Doctor of Education degree in Gifted and Talented Education (2009), a Master's degree in Natural Sciences (1997), and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (1990). I live in Surfside Beach, SC. I am also a mother to two adult sons. I look forward to learning along with all of you over the coming years. |
Meet Sheri!I’m Midwest girl living in a southern world. I’m a wife, mom, and friend. I have worked in healthcare for over 27 years and I consider myself one of the lucky ones who really loves her job. But, I also have passions that extend beyond my chosen career.
My entire adult life, I have had a true desire to help and connect with others and have worked and volunteered for numerous organizations outside of the hospital, as a result of my desire to help others. Over the last several years I have spent countless hours working with and coaching Intermittent Fasters, to help them reclaim their health and vitality. Once upon a time, my entire life was work, advanced education, and my family. My life was out of balance, and I really had to look at what I needed to do to live a more balanced life. I have spent the last several years trying to help others do the same. One of the things I love about helping others is that in my quest to help, I also continue to learn so much about myself, our bodies, and our mental and physical health. I love to experiment with tools and products that can be used to help people live their best and healthiest lives. Let's grow and learn together! |
