Oh Gin, after listening to so many of your IF podcasts and then this one, we are like the same person when it comes to sleep, lights, go to bed and rising times, short naps, etc. Almost everything you say about habits, eating, drinking, and the sleep/wake cycle is so me. I am definitely a lion. People think I am nuts because I get up so early on the weekends or days off from work. It just feels natural. My BF laughs at me for putting light blocking discs over EVERY little light in our bedroom, using blackout curtains and using a fan every single night. There is one difference and I don’t think I have ever heard you mention this (I know you like to be warm), but I also have to have the bedroom window open a little in the winter months. I live in northern Indiana and it gets really cold sometimes, but that crisp, fresh air is so conducive to better sleep for me. I think I got that from my grandpa as I found out a few years ago that he used to do that every night also. I didn’t know that growing up. Anyway, we have so much in common that I really hang on to what you say. This new podcast will definitely become a favorite of mine! Thanks, ladies.
